Well, kind of. It was a snow morning, at least. The forecast was calling for 1-3 inches, and as we ate breakfast, the kids were excited to see lots of big flakes coming down. After we ate, we got dressed up to walk a few blocks to our friends’ house in the half inch that had accumulated.
Jonah really liked trudging through the snow, and kept saying, “It’s soft!” Once we met up with our friends, he tried throwing (pitching) snowballs, and thought it was funny to throw them into the road.
Nora kind of liked touching the snow, but a few times she fell down and was not at all happy about it. Mostly, she seemed to like the look of the snow on everything more than the actual experience of it.
And now it is 1:00 and nearly all traces of snow are gone…
Soooooo cute!! Next time you’ll have to get out there and build a really quick snowman and see how long he lasts. Fun! :)
Snow days are fun!! Next time, maybe dad can pull you on a sled.
