Reading Scrambled States

Sean was able to catch some video of Jonah reading a library book the other night. Jonah’s been really into our US map that hangs in the hall way, and every night, he and Sean play a silly game where Jonah asks, “Who lives in _____?” and purposely mispronounces state names to crack himself (and Sean) up. I remembered having a book – “The Scrambled States of America” – somewhere in a box of teaching stuff that I can’t find. I thought he’d think it was funny, so we checked it out of the library. This was Jonah’s very first time seeing the book and will give you an idea of what his reading is like these days. He’s been reading books like this for months now, and we’re always amazed at how fluently he reads and the expression he uses, especially when he’s reading something totally new.
