A tiny bit, anyway. We had about half an inch last Monday, but it was enough to look exciting for a bit. The kids had been sick all week, but were finally starting to feel like themselves again, so we headed out to play for a short time.
Nora was definitely unsure about the whole thing. Her best comment, “Walk in snow like a Santa. Feel crunchy like banana chips.”
Jonah was more excited.
Especially when Sean suggested building a snowman. It was a little bit of a challenge to scrape together enough for a snowball.
Jonah tells Sean how big to make the snowman. Hahaha. Yeah, Sean. Get to work.
Each kid took a turn holding the giant snowball.
And watched some snowman construction
A few random chunks of chalk and some leaf stems, and the little guy was all set. Awww….
DEAR JONAH AND NORA,
WE WERE SO HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR SNOWMAN
WHEN WE TAKLED ON THE TELEPHONE. HE IS VERY CUTE WITH THE STICK ARMS, THE RED EYES AND THE STICK MOUTH, JUST AS YOU DESCRIBED HIM. PERHAPS YOU WILL HAVE MORE SNOW AND CAN MAKE A BIGGER SNOWMAN.
LOVE YOU,
GRAN AND GRANDAD
