Both kids have been sick for the past few days with a fever and just generally feeling miserable. They both had some time this morning where they were feeling better for a while, and then Nora’s fever started to go back up. When it did, she started shivering and thought that her quivering chin was about the funniest thing ever. She would try to make noise while shivering and just crack up at the way she sounded. (She did the same thing when her croup cough started a few months ago, too – just thought it was so funny.) So this was a little glimmer of fun in our sick and sad little week. And pretty soon after this, she went down for a nap.

OH how sweet!! Poor little buggers!! I hope they feel better.
Tell them we were thinking about them. Hope they do feel “all-better” as their dad used to say.
Love,
Gran and Grandad
