In Rhode Island, Nora and Jonah got to see a lot of relatives that they hadn’t seen in a long time (or ever). We first stopped and visited my Uncle Paul, Aunt Marianne, and my cousins, Maggie and Emma. There we got to meet Maggie’s new baby, Liam. Nora was thrilled, of course, and loved pointing to “baby!” and trying to give him some toys.
We also went in their pool for a while and swam with Maggie and Liam. Our little water baby liked that, too.
While we swam, Jonah and Sean played some baseball on the side of the yard and Jonah really really wanted Sean to hit a home run into the pool. We also enjoyed some snacks.
And Emma introduced their dogs to Nora.
Oh, look. A picture of our family in Rhode Island.
Later we went to GG’s apartment and Nora had a little zucchini bread party with her.
Nora practiced a lot of climbing on her furniture.
And my mom got a picture of the two kids together(!) both looking reasonably happy(!)
Four generations of the girls of the family.
Then we went to Connecticut to visit my cousin, Tracy, and her two boys. The kids had a great time playing with all the train tracks and cars and trucks that they had.
And we were so happy to see Nana, too. Nora loved her beaded necklace, so they traded accessories for a while. :)
Auntie Cheryl and Jonah had some crazy-face-making lessons/contests which had them both cracking up (and everyone else, too). :)
The time was short, but we were sure glad we got to see as many people as we did! Before we knew it, we were snacking at a park-and-ride on the side of the highway on our way back to Pennsylvania.
