While we were in Rhode Island, we had some time one afternoon to take the kids to the beach. Jonah was only interested in the sand and in “digging the deepest hole you have ever seen.” Nora, however, was fully prepared to walk straight into the ocean over and over as far as I would let her go. The first handful of times a wave came and washed over her feet, she would totally lose her balance, fall over, and laugh. But she soon got the hang of it and just loved running in and out of the water.

We met up with Phoebe for a little bit, too.

And Uncle David helped keep Nora from running off into danger while I took a few pictures of her in the water.
