We rented a house for a long weekend in Yachats (a little town on the coast), and actually managed to mostly(?) escape the totally rainy weather we’ve been having for the last month or so in Eugene. Although it wasn’t warm, it was nice to be outside to see the ocean and some patches of blue skies.

Jonah’s preferred binocular technique: close eyes and point at the ground.

Sean tried to fly Jonah’s kite, but it wasn’t quite windy enough to keep it up for long.

Nora really liked watching the big colorful thing flap around, though.

Jonah and Sean did a little bit of “making buckets.”

Meanwhile, right next to them, Nora met sand for the first time.

And it surprisingly took over five minutes before she decided to try to eat some!
