“A Scissors Project”

Jonah really likes cutting things, but we hadn’t gotten his scissors out for a while. He was so excited to use them the other day and kept saying over and over (in a very serious voice), “You are doing some real big work at your desk. You are doing a scissors project! You are such a big worker at this desk!” He was drawing trucks, roads, and letters, and then cutting them up into lots of little pieces.

  1. Aunt Lisa says

I just wanted to let you know that I laughed so hard at Jonah’s narration of the events. Hilarious.

  2. I’ve decided I’m going to give myself a similar pep talk every time I sit at my desk to work on my thesis. Then I’m going to give my thesis to Jonah to cut into little pieces. It will be an improvement!

  3. I’m going to repeat the same thing to myself every time I’m working on some crazy client project… “You are doing some real big work at your desk. You are such a big worker at this desk!”
