Her name:

We both really liked the name Nora for a girl, and it was our choice from last time if Jonah had been a girl.  Josephine was Sean’s mother’s middle name, as well as his grandmother’s first name.

Other things: 

Light brown hair with hints of auburn

Blue eyes (for now, at least…)

Her favorite activity so far is sleeping. She is quite the champion sleeper.

Nora also has quite a few facial expressions that look just like her big brother, which has been so much fun to see!

It was on December 3rd in 1586 that potatoes were introduced to England.

On Dec. 3, 1967 – Derek Clayton will set the world record in the marathon – a record he will hold for 15 years, while Dr. Barnard will conduct the first human heart transplant.

In 1975 Laos falls to the communists.

In 1982 – Cleveland, Ohio hits 77 degrees – a record for December, while a few hundred miles away, in Big Fork, Arkansas, it rains 16.2 inches – an Arkansas state record which still stands!!

In 1991 – Hulk Hogan defeats the Undertaker to become a 4 time WWF Champion, and in other sporting news concerning athletes acting violently, Latrell Sprewell is fired for attacking his coach.

AND ON DEC. 3 in Central Oregon – University of Oregon secures a berth in the Rose Bowl, and nearby in a local hospital, Nora Josephine Sharp is born.
