Settling In

Ever since the moving truck arrived last Thursday, we’ve been busily digging through boxes, trying to put things in their new places. Jonah was thrilled with the arrival of the big truck outside our house, and was just as happy to see lots of his toys and familiar things when we started opening up boxes.

Last weekend, we went back to one of the parks with Sean. It is right up against the Willamette River, so we went down for a closer look.

Jonah happily and proudly went up and down the slide by himself over and over.

And he cannot pass by a water fountain anywhere without wanting a drink.

Once we got his (w)easel set up, Jonah wanted to do some painting outside. So we did.

  1. Jonah, you are becoming quite the “artiste”, painting “en plein air” as you are doing. Remember, a studio wtih a northern exposure is the best for consistent light all day. :) The Barbizons and Impressionists would be proud, little buddy.

Jonah, you are having such a great time in your new town! Can’t wait to see you again. We can paint pictures together. Love you bunches! :)

Wow! All that fun. And all those parks. And a backyard to paint in.
We are happy you are having a good time. Love to you all.
