On Saturday, Nora kept practicing her crawling all around the house (video to come sometime this week, hopefully). She especially likes to crawl up to chairs or other large things and try to move them around. We try to make sure she doesn’t pull things over on her head. ;)
After working up an appetite, Nora chowed down a bowl of her newest vegetable, spinach. She has loved eating every fruit and vegetable she’s tried.
About two hours after eating that spinach, Nora started throwing up and kept doing it for over an hour. She was really lethargic, so we brought her in to the urgent care clinic, and they sent us to the hospital so she could get rehydrated with IV fluids.
By this morning, she was back to her happy self, which was a relief. She woke me up by banging her little cords and wires against the metal crib bars while she laughed at the dinging sound.
Her excitement though, when seeing Sean and Jonah walk through her door this morning was priceless. She loves those guys!
After keeping some formula down for a few hours, she got to come home this afternoon. The doctors think it may have been some kind of virus, but to be on the safe side, Nora won’t be eating more spinach any time soon, either.
Gran and I are relieved that it resolved quickly without further problems, as we know you are also. Give her a top-of-the-head kiss for us. Love to you all.
Oh my goodness!! Poor little wee one.
You are such a little trooper, Nora. We hope that tummy gets better real soon–LOVE YOU!!!
Oh, and the picture of you with the greens all over your face made us laugh outloud– reminiscent of a picture of your big brother when he was introduced to peas. Just tooooo funny. Love you bunches! :)
