Batter Up!

Jonah loves to practice playing baseball, especially when his dad gets home from work. Lately, instead of hitting off his tee, he really wants someone to pitch to him just like a real baseball player. And amazingly enough, he actually hits the ball some of the time! Then he runs the ‘bases’. Shortly before I started taping, he even hit one clear to the upper right corner of the wall and Nora cheered! I was sorry to have missed recording that one. Anyway, Jonah starts off the video explaining what part of the bat makes a hit and what part makes a foul ball. Then he starts swinging away…

  1. A LEFTY!!!!!!!!!! Lookin sharp :):)! Seems like he has quick bat speed because he is pulling the ball. I loved when he it a line drive right up the middle, almost hitting dada! That is what i try to do every time: hit line drives up the middle. I like the new glove!

Way to go, Jonah. Keep your eye on the ball and be patient at the plate. Make sure Dad gives you a good pitch to hit. Glad to see you are drinking water and keep fluids up in the hot weather. All ball players have to do that. Won’t be long until you’ll be hitting the ball over the fence!!!!!

    Love you, Lefty!!

Wow Jonah, great batting and fast running. I see a future of your mom and dad and Nora sitting on baseball bleachers watching you play in little league all summer. It’s fun.

  5. CASEY AT THE BAT.. Your left-handed Uncle Peter PITCHED 2 NO-HITTERS WHEN HE WAS only 6 years old. Maybe you’ll take after him.
    love & hugs GG
