Sean had a conference in Richmond, so we all decided to make the trip with him for a change of scenery. I’m glad we did because Jonah had a blast! From the minute we walked into the hotel, he was excitedly pointing at everything in sight and was thrilled to find that our room had a “BOOK-K-K”!
The hallways were great for running – plenty of room to weave, and pretty plush for the tumbles.
We got to go swimming both days, which was great since it was in the 90s. Jonah enjoyed chasing after some of his new squirt toys and bobbing up and down in the water.
There was a pretty courtyard in the middle of the hotel buildings with trees and brick pathways that Jonah spent nearly the whole afternoon running around on. (Somewhere along the way, he took a spill. You may notice yet another head wound. It wasn’t too bad, though.)
A short water break to watch the garbage truck and landscaping truck…
…and back to running!
He covered so much ground – walked WAY farther than he ever has before – and eventually just wore himself out.
Then we met up with Sean and grabbed a quick dinner before heading home. Again, Jonah is just so interested in all the new things he sees and is giving his pointer finger a workout wherever he goes!
Jonah, it is official: you are the cutest baby ever to exist. Your daddy told me today what you are getting for your birthday, but wild horses will not drag it out of me! I think you’re going to like it, though!!!!!
Your pops also told us that you guys are coming to Charleston for Thanksgiving! YAY! Do you prefer light meat or dark meat?
