Walkin’ Man

Did you want to see Jonah showing off all his new walking skills? I thought so!

It’s hard to believe that only three weeks ago, he couldn’t yet crawl, pull up, or take steps on his own. Now he’s walking for up to 10 feet at a time and changing directions! It’s a whole new world around here…

You’ll also see him rocking on his chair, playing the drums and charango, crawling (with his funny left leg sticking out), pulling up, sitting down, and being so proud of himself.

  1. Comments as I watch:

    Trundle, Trundle – that’s awesome!

    “Booh’ ! Booh’ !”

One man band! Awesome – just needs a harmonica and a tamborine tied to his knee.

Nia was the same way about going from immobility almost directly to walking.

She still likes playing that come to Mama – “Turn around and come to dad” game.

Great video, guys! We can’t believe we were there a few weeks ago and he wasn’t even crawling, and now he’s cruising around. Thanks so much for putting this video together, we really enjoyed it!

  3. Grandma and Grandpa says

Better practice your running, Mom & Dad. Soon there’ll be no catching up to the “walkin’ man” or rather the RUNNING MAN!! :) GREAT VIDEO!

    Dearest Jonah,

Thank you for the lovely card for Father’s Day!! Since it is now my turn to do something for you, I will work on a surprise!! You look so great what with getting into your “book shelf” and walking. All of we Sharp’s have been big on books and on walking and hiking. Your Dad and I used to hike 50 miles each summer, as well as take other jaunts. That is where he gets the desire to take you hiking, I expect. We love you, son, and enjoy all the picures and movies your Mom and Dad put together. Love, Grandad

  5. The internet is too slow here to play the video but I just wanted to say good going little man and send you all my love from Ghana!
