The Cascades

There’s a great hike near us that goes two miles up (and up and up) to a waterfall – the Cascades – and then two miles back down. We’ve taken Jonah on this hike for the past two beautiful weekends, and it’s been a great time. He loves looking at the stream on the way up and is full of laughs and stories from his carrier. It’s been pretty good exercise for the parents, too.

Here’s the little hiker looking at the fascinating stream.

Jonah, your expressions are priceless. You did much better than your grandma on the “march”. Guess the secret is getting a ride on someone’s back! I’ll have to remember that next time! :)
