Page Turner

Over the last week, we’ve noticed that Jonah is learning how to turn pages when we read to him – and not just randomly, either. Most of the time, he looks at the book until he notices that the reading has stopped, and then he reaches out and flips to the next page. It’s like he’s figured out how to keep the story going. Smart little baby!

Ricky captured this early morning storytime on video while he was visiting.

Smart baby! Let me know if you’d like to borrow any of my books, Jonah — you are very good at page turning!

  2. Good job baby! You’re going to be a bookworm, too! It’s not so bad…

Sara, we loved Rick’s movie. Jonah is learning so quickly at seven months. It is clear he is a bright boy and will probably be a scholar. Keep up the reading; the pleasure of doing it will serve both of you well. The only question, with the book you’re reading, is whether he will be (a) a herpetologist who discovers all there is to know about chameleons or other reptiles, or (b) an artist who becomes known for his skill at melding colors into beautiful representations!! (A little humor if you please.)

You’re a great page turner just like your mommy was. Keep up the good work, Jonah! Love you. :)

Grampa says “That’s pretty SHARP!” Now, go roll your eyes, Sara. :)

You are soooo smart! You are going to be a great story teller and probably will start out working in the local library, reading and turning the pages for all the little people. Good job our little man!
    Love you,
