For those of you keeping track, that’s TWO in a row! So we spent the morning ‘hiking’ around a nice park here and checking out some flowers, leaves, and sticks.
Kids in a tree.
And here’s one where Nora looks happier. You can merge them in your mind and imagine both kids looking happy at the same time, because I sure can’t seem to get a picture of it happening. ;)
Nora looking up at a very tall tree
Jonah measured the tree. He said, “Even though I can’t reach all the way to the top and really measure it, I think it’s twenty-two thousand and eleven inches.”
Then we played with the sand tub out back. Jonah was carefully leveling tablespoons for his recipe.
Nora, copying everything her big brother does
She was occasionally (uncharacteristically) bothered by the sand sticking to her hands.
But not too much – she kept climbing into the tub. :)
Glad you are enjoying nice weather, we had snow yesterday. Kids look beautiful!
Here in the NW, after the long winter, don’t the pretty, sunshine days feel wonderful? Soon the Camelias, Rhodies, Daff’s, Tulips will be out and one can play baseball. Hey, Jonah, what about that?
Love,
Grandad
Tall trees you’ve got out there…
