Scrabble Boy

While Aunt Lisa was in town last weekend, it seemed like a good time to get Jonah started with Scrabble. He actually did pretty well. We discovered that the best way to play was for him to have a teammate who starts a word and then he looks at his letters to see what could finish it.

Like for this word, I put down the SL, and then he looked at his letters to make SLOW.

He’s talked about playing “that Scrabble game again where you can make all the letters connect together to make lots of words.” So watch out, Lisa, Grandma, and GG. You’ll have some competition before you know it. :)

And for fun, Nora chews on her pacifier sideways. And smiles.

Jonah decided totally on his own to give a concert “and Nora can be the audience.” So cute.

Love the way you use your tongue to help you think, Jonah. Like when you are playing with the batting “T” and playing Scrabble.

    Love,

    Grandad

Let’s not forget that he played an X on a triple-letter score to spell FIX! That kid’s a natural!

Hey, Jonah! You and Grandma had better get a Scrabble game going SOON, while there’s still a chance for me to win!! :)
