Jonah regularly sings/talks to himself for a while before he falls asleep, but today after an hour and a half(!), he was saying he was “ready to get up now!” I went in to see him only to find that he had relocated the entire contents of his playhouse to his bed, not to mention the half dozen books and stuffed animals. And I just noticed the ‘baby’ is lying on the dresser with the mirror, undoubtedly for a diaper change – haha! And the magnetic ‘R’ on the edge of the bed?
I asked him if he’d like to clear off the bed to take a real nap or if he’d rather go to bed early tonight. He chose going to bed early.
And since Sean is out of town, that choice is just fine with me! :)

Mom is lucky. When I put your grandma to bed for a nap I would walk in and she would have half the wallpaper peeled off!!!!
