Awww… Nora and her dad…
Jonah comes over to check her out. It seems like he’s starting to realize that she’s here to stay. Today he wanted to share his chicken “so Nora can dip it in the ketchup.”
Nora tolerated her first two or three minutes of tummy time, lifting her head up to look from side to side.
This next picture shows the piece of fabric that is about to revolutionize my life. It is called a Moby Wrap and was lent to me by a new friend here. It is basically a really long rectangle that gets wrapped around my stomach and shoulders. Nora loooooves to be carried around, snuggling up to my chest, and this lets her do that while I can have both my arms free. I’ve been able to make and eat snacks, do laundry, paint with Jonah, and walk around the indoor farmer’s market all while she happily hangs out and sleeps. It is super comfortable to wear, and I am already wondering what I would do without it.
Beautiful pictures of our favorite little family. :) Where was that Moby Wrap 30+ years ago???
ah, you’re discovering hands-free glory! glad to see. in uganda here, a baby is usually wrapped to momma’s back – baby front against momma back. then, the baby’s legs wrap around momma’s waist so if you look from the front, all you see are two tiny feet waving at you from the hip. it’s kinda funny. in northern uganda, it’s the same, but momma also ties a big old calabash over baby’s head to keep the sun off. very innovative. but the goals are the same – busy mommas need their hands to take care of business. glad you’ve got yours back!
All my ladies who are moms are totally down with the Moby Wrap. You and Nora look so cute!!!
I need to look in to that!! I also love the update on the web site. Very cute!!
Hello all!

Two beautiful babies. We are very happy for you. (Glad to be back on line!)
Hi our little family,
Hope our little Nora is coming along. I hope she is home with her daddy and little brother Jonah. He looks like he is becoming the big brother to her. How great is that. They are just the most beautiful little brother and sister that I have seen. Hope you are all together for your first Christmas as a family, that will be soooo great. We can’t wait for that time and pictures to look at with such pleasure and happiness. We both love our new little family in Oregon. Keep the pictures coming!!!
Love you,
Nanny and Granpy
