In case you hadn’t heard yet, we’re moving to Oregon. Sean got a great job with the university out there, so in a span of two weeks, we’re packing like crazy around here and moving out. Jonah’s been a great sport through all of this, and while it’s hard to tell how much he really understands, he sure spends a lot of time talking (and singing) about “taking an airplane to our new house in Eugene.” He also likes the idea of a big truck driving all our boxes to our new house.
He had fun today helping crumple paper for our boxes of dishes.
And he helped pack a box of the baseballs from his wall.
The movers come on Friday or Saturday, and we fly out next Tuesday. I’m not sure when we’ll get the Internet set up on the other end of this adventure, so the updates may be scarce for a while. We’ll have plenty of pictures of Jonah and the new place soon. :)
Jonah Dear,
Plese give grandma Deb and grandpa Rick a big hug when you see them.
And telll them they can always plan to stay with us if they come this way to go to Eugene.
And all of you, have a safe trip. Will be thinking of you.
Love,
Gran and Grandad
Jonah! Don’t forget to crumple up some newspaper for your own box there. Safe journey, little man…I can’t wait to see you in the new year!
SNIFF SNIFF.
Don’t forget to use extra foam when packing up Jonah in that box he is in. :) Best wishes out on the West Coast!
Jonah, make sure the box you are in has our address on it!! :)
See you soon. Love you bunches!
