Lunch at Goose Creek

We went to have lunch with our friends, Fred and Ann, in Floyd County today. After enjoying a delicious meal, we went outside to explore a little of the outdoors around their home. There were a lot of butterflies, which Jonah was excited about.

“Three black butterflies!”

Then we crossed a bridge over the creek. “Water down there!”

“Jonah look in big barn. It is dark in that barn!”

Then we returned to the creek, and that’s where Jonah really started to have fun.

It didn’t take too long to realize that it would be better to take the shoes off.

The water was very cold, but he didn’t seem to mind a bit. We were surprised how much he loved dipping his feet in the water.  “Jonah has cold feet!”

And he had a great time throwing rocks in the water to make a splash!

It’s always fun to watch him get so excited about things.

Thanks, Fred and Ann!
