Video viewing guide:

Part 1: Jonah is at the park, where there is construction going on across the street. We had been happily watching caterpillars, but when the blue dump truck showed up, that was the end of nature time. It got stuck at the bottom of the hill and had a hard time getting back up. You’ll hear Jonah saying ‘What happened?’ when he sees it slide back down.

Part 2: Jonah ‘calls’ Bob all the time to tell him about trucks. His favorite story to tell Bob is about how the back of the red truck went ‘Bang! Bang!’ and scared him a little bit. I haven’t been able to catch the beginnings of these conversations on tape, but they usually start with Jonah saying, “Hi Bob… I’m doing good…”

Part 3: Jonah now looooves watching a slideshow of my construction vehicle pictures on the computer. At first, he would cry pretty hard when it was over, but he’s coping a little better these days. His favorite one to get to is the ‘big red truck.’ He never seems to get tired of that one. He also likes to type stories on the keyboard. The one on here is “Blue truck went outside, dumping out dirt.” Listen for him pointing out “Mom’s space bar” at the end.
