Jonah got to see his grandparents this weekend when they drove down from PA to see how much he’s grown since Christmas. It was really nice to see, for the first time really, that Jonah was willing to interact with them so quickly and easily (instead of the usual “More Dad. More Mom.”) He was talking up a storm, holding hands, telling jokes, playing games, and even giving hugs and kisses.
We all went out to dinner the first night, and Jonah enjoyed coloring his placemat.
Even though it was a pretty rainy weekend, we got outside for a walk on the trail.
Jonah’s pretty good at spotting ants.
Then we stopped by an event where they had a bunch of old cars. Jonah, of course, was very excited.
He got to pet some bunnies that people were trying to find a home for.
There were a lot of concerts.
Grandma had a good time driving cars on the road.
We played with playdough.
Grandma made a lot of peas for Jonah to plant in the holes.
Then Jonah painted a “Big Red Fire Truck!”
“This little piggy…”
Everyone had a fun time and is already looking forward to the next visit!
Gotta love that tongue sticking out while hard work is being accomplished!
What exciting times for him when Grandparents visit. Love to you all.
