While we were in Annapolis this past weekend, Jonah and I went to a children’s ‘museum’ (which was basically a few themed rooms full of toys to play with). He spent the most time playing in the kitchen setup they had. It was really fun to watch him imitate so many of the things he sees us doing. He picked out foods – said he was going to ‘Kroger’. Then he got out some pans, took food out of the fridge, cooked it, put it on plates, and fed it to some dolls. While he was cooking the eggs, he kept saying ‘Dad egg,’ since he knows Sean is the one who does the egg cooking around here. :)
He also loved the room with the typewriter and old phones and fax machines.
And he discovered ‘Go Dog Go’… in Spanish!!!
Isn’t it amazing what they learn from just watching us. Cameron loves to try to put my clothes on and off. She also loves to help me wipe and dust.
Corre, perro, corre! Que bonito!
