There’s some construction going on at our place – they’re tearing down a small office building, filling in the useless swimming pool, and building a new place like the one we live in. Of course, this means that there are large vehicles in our parking lot all the time now – dump trucks, bulldozers, backhoes, etc. Jonah hears the beeping sounds when they back up and runs to the door saying, “more kuck.” We’ve been checking on them all week, but today(!) they started wrecking the building, and Jonah was enthralled. If we didn’t have to eat lunch and take a nap, I think he would have been happy to stay out there all afternoon.
And since it’s 50 degrees warmer than it was a week ago, I can handle being outside, too. (It’s now 51 degrees here.)
Aw, Mom, it may be that you will have to get your priorities straight. When ever did lunch and naps become more important than “Kucks” and building demolition? Clearly, from the pictures he was enthralled.
Love you both.
Hey, Jonah– tell Mom to bring along your chair, your blankie in case of a chill, fill the cooler with eats and drinks, and you’ll be good for the day!! Have fun! :)
Gosh, he looks a little worried to me. Did everybody get out okay?
