“Bouncing Up and Down…”

Tonight, Jonah was playing with his CD player while Sean and I cleaned up in the kitchen. I peeked in at him during his ‘Little Red Wagon’ song, and he was bouncing up and down with the lyrics. We’ve never seen him do this before, and are not quite sure where he got the idea. Later, you can see him “fix it with my little hammer”. He copies this part from the librarian who often uses a similar motion when she sings that verse at the library story time.

Apologies for the sideways video… I’ve gotten used to taking pictures that way, and I forgot I can’t rotate the video. You’ll just have to turn your head. :)

  1. Grandma and Grandpa says

Jonah- That was sooooo cute!! You had ME bouncing up and down. Did I see a little sign language in there? What a great job! :)

  2. How he is growing and developing! At sixteen months — Wow!
Your comment that you had not seen his “bouncing” and “hammering” before really means we all have to get our running shoes on to keep up with his moving out of babyhood to childhood. Puff out your chests, Sean and Sara. You’re doing well with him.
