Jonah’s friend, Esther, came over to spend the afternoon with us. It was fun to watch them reach out for each other’s hands and toes and to see how they responded to the other one’s noises and toys. Oh, and the moms really enjoyed the visit, too!

Jonah’s playtime gets a soundtrack. What a nice accompaniment for chewing on plastic. He enjoyed the singing so much… …he decided to kick back (or tip over) and relax.
So, I think this is the second time this week that I accidentally dressed Jonah in pretty much the same exact thing I was wearing. I noticed it this afternoon when we went out to check the mail and hoped that no one else would see us. I would feel a little embarrassed… :)
Even though Jonah has his dad’s head, it doesn’t mean the hats fit yet.
Jonah has developed a fascination with cups lately, so I’ve started saving little applesauce containers for him to play with. He also loves his plastic blue cube from the shape sorter. When they’re all spread out in front of him, he really goes after the blue one. It brings him great joy!
