Jonah’s starting to feed himself little pieces of puffed cereal and he’s beginning to get the hang of the whole chewing thing. My favorite move is when he gets a piece between his thumb and index finger, but then puts the other three fingers in his mouth. It’s also funny to realize that if we were at the park, he’d be able to put bits of mulch, grass, and crunched up leaves in his mouth at least five times as fast.

Jonah tried spinach tonight. He loves pretty much anything we spoon in his mouth these days and often cries when the food is gone. He also uses his hands a lot to help keep food in his mouth. It’s tough to say if his face is this messy every night or if the vibrant spinach just brings it out more than usual.
With his new little teeth, Jonah can even shave off tasty bits of fruit, too.
…except for green beans. I hate them.
