Seriously.
Here she is munching on her horse rattle. If these pictures had sound, you’d hear her talking very loudly and intensely to this little guy.
The other night, I sat Nora in the bumbo seat, and I was suddenly hit with the memory of a picture I had taken of Jonah at the same exact age, in the same exact clothes, in the same exact seat. So I found that photo and put them next to each other, and it made me smile. :)
We had lunch at the park today, and as we were finishing up, a ladybug joined the picnic. Jonah liked watching it crawl around on his hand and jacket and was very gentle with it.
We spent some time outside today in the beautiful weather, and I looked away from Nora for a minute to do something in the sandbox with Jonah. When I looked back, I noticed that she had picked up her beads. She looked at them for a moment, and then spent the next ten minutes or so putting them in her mouth and chewing on them. While it was exciting to see, it also marks the beginning of one of my least favorite things about infants – the put-everything-in-their-mouth phase. But it sure made her happy!
And I just love going in to check on her and find her sleeping with her arms up like this. (Jonah did it, too.)
She heard the little beep of the camera and reluctantly opened her eyes to see what was going on. Then it was right back to sleep. That’s my girl! :)
