On Wednesday, we had our weekly playgroup with all of Jonah’s baby friends. Since it’s almost Christmas, they were all dressed in their festive gear and forced into another group photo scene. There were fewer tears than last time, but they’re still not real interested in staying close together in the same place for long!

We started the day at a little costume party with lots of our baby playgroup friends. It was hilariously cute to see them all roaming around in their costumes, and trying to get them all lined up on the couch for a picture was a riot!
Since it was such a beautiful day, we headed outside and played with leaves in the backyard.
Then when Sean got home, we headed downtown for trick-or-treating.
Jonah was a bit overwhelmed by all the people and costumes and mostly wanted to be carried. We took a little break on the corner to recover and watch some traffic.
He did manage to grab himself (or… uh… his parents) a few pieces of candy. Well done, Jonah!

On Thursdays, Jonah gets a lot of time to play with his baby friends. In the mornings, Cora comes over to our place, and in the afternoons we go to Luke’s. I watch these kiddos while their moms go to work, and the little ones get a chance to play with different toys, follow the other one around, and learn some new tricks from each other.
Jonah and Cora both love to read, and they spend a lot of time in piles of books.
Jonah’s fascinated with flowers these days, and is always happy to find them on his friends’ clothes!
When he pushes the clown back in the box, Jonah usually says, ‘bye bye’.
The musical ABC snail never gets old. More, more, more… The best part is when both the boys sit there, bobbing their heads and swaying to the music!
On Friday, Jonah went to play with some of his baby friends, and they had just gotten a sand and water table. For a little while, Jonah liked splashing in the water, but was really not fond of the way wet sand felt on his hands.
Then on Saturday, some new friends of ours came over for dinner with their son who’s a week older than Jonah. There were a few times where the little guys’ paths crossed while playing, but boy, is it hard to get a good picture of two babies at the same time!
