Christmas

Merry Christmas from Jonah Claus!

The kids loved playing Santa this winter, wrapping all sorts of things in newspaper and boxes for each other to be ‘surprised’ with.  One day, Jonah (with the help of fleece and safety pins) got himself all ‘Santa-ed’ up for some fun.

On Christmas Eve, Nora opened up the last of our Christmas countdown books, and Sean read The Night Before Christmas to the kids.

Then it was time to set out the cookies and milk for Santa.  The kids were very particular about putting each cookie in just the right spot.

Happy and excited with their notes to Santa all ready to go.

Then here we are at Christmas dinner.  Since I don’t seem to be able to take great pictures in our living room, I decided to not even try during all the gift opening festivities and just pay attention to the kids and the day. It was very nice.  And yes, Nora is still wearing the same pajamas she was the night before.  Hahaha…

Finally, here’s a picture I love that Jonah drew, showing how Santa delivers the gifts.  Just follow the arrow!  :)

Great job stepping into Grandpa’s shoes, Sean! Seeing that picture takes us right back like it was yesterday–WOW… Love the Santa Impersonator and the artwork. Real keepers! Love you all. :)
