We have had some beautiful days this week – pretty much perfect. And if the forecast can be believed (which it generally can’t…), we may be in for another week or so like this. Hooray!! The kids have been spending a lot of time outside. Nora has figured out how to get into her blue swing and buckled in all by herself, but she also likes being a big kid on the regular swings. Here are the two little Phillies, taking a break from ball games and bike rides.
She gets brave with the really big swings at the park, too, asking for higher and higher pushes.
We went to our favorite river park on Monday and stayed for the whole time Jonah was at school. What fun!
Her new favorite “take a picture of THIS face!”
That night, we broke out the ice cream maker for the first time in a long time and made some peach-blueberry frozen yogurt. The kids loved the treat, and Nora said it was “sooooo cold, just like Uranus.” She’s learning a lot about planets from her big brother.
Here are a few cute ones I took while playing around with a new photo app.
We also took advantage of the clear night to go to a hilltop in town to watch the ‘supermoon’. Although it’s not a great picture, it reminds me how excited Jonah was about the whole thing.
I made Nora a new dress out of an old maternity shirt. I made sure it would have a pocket for her rocks.
Then today, the kids played with water for most of the afternoon. We just filled up a plastic tub and had some cups and the hose, and that kept them happy (especially Jonah!) for a very long time. He loved throwing cups of water like a pitcher, but the water would fly out and get all over his back every time. So funny.
Nora got in on some of the pouring fun.
Jonah kept cracking himself up jumping and then sitting in the very cold water. Funny guy!
“sooooo cold, just like Uranus.” hahahaahah!!
Happy time pictures. Thank you, Sara!
