Our good friend, Jessi, came to visit us this week. It was a lot of fun (and help!) to have her around, and the kids had a great time playing funny games and reading with her.

Jessi shows amazing promise as a playdough truck creator, especially when you consider that she hasn’t spent hours every day for the past three years studying different types of trucks. :) Jonah was pleased.

We also had our first week where it was pretty much sunny every day. What a relief. On Saturday, we headed down to the river for an Earth Day celebration. Jonah really liked sitting on the wall and watching things float downstream “because I think I’ve never been this close to an actual real river before!”  (not quite true, but…)

Nora liked looking at it, too. She even got to see a duck!
