Like all babies, Jonah’s pretty adorable when he’s sleeping. But getting him to sleep – especially for naps – is tricky enough that I never want to take the chance of waking him up by taking a picture. Yesterday, though, he was still sleeping at 4:00 and I had to wake him up anyway…
“Awww… what did you do that for???”
Then he (strangely) wanted to keep playing in his crib for nearly another half-hour. He’d ask for me to pick him up, and then as I reached out my hands, he would crack up and dive back on the mattress and say, ‘nightnight’. It was apparently a very fun game.
I love the sleeping baby pictures!!! Cameron looks same way when I have to wake her up. The “oh no you didn’t” look.

Those are serious dad eyebrows in that last photo, for sure!! I play that “nightnight” game almost every morning myself, Jonah… I start to get up, then… nightnight!
